Domenico Famà is an Italian conductor, composer and classical guitarist. Appreciated for his interpretative research that combines severe rigor and maximum expressiveness, he debuted in Teatro Massimo Vincenzo Bellini di Catania in 2018, special guest in a symphonic concert dedicated to Mozart, Rossini, Verdi e Bellini. He is a recording artist for the international labels Brilliant Classics and Da Vinci Classics and he has a long concert career full of important and significant collaborations. He is the Music Director of the Orchestra da Camera Orfeo, Resident Conductor of ASAM in Syracuse for the musical seasons of the Teatro Massimo Città di Siracusa (2025–2027), and an artist represented by the international record labels Brilliant Classics (with which he recorded Music for Strings in 2022 and Romanza in 2024) and Da Vinci Publishing (Fragments de Temps, in 2021). He is also active as a composer of several chamber works, publicly performed and globally distributed by Hal Leonard. He hosted the program I Protagonisti on Radio Mozart Italia and, since 2024, has been an ordinary member of the Sibelius Society Italia. Since 2023 he has been assistant of Giacomo Sagripanti, Fabrizio Maria Carminati, and Salvatore Percacciolo. He is a professor at the Conservatorio Giovanni Paisiello in Taranto. Among the prominent figures who have contributed to the development of his career are Gilberto Serembe, Angelo Gilardino, György Ráth, Pablo Varela, and Daniele Agiman.
